QuarryHouse is volunteering alongside the California Conservation Corp at China Camp State Park in San Rafael, CA to help with the Trail Restoration Project that is ongoing. QuarryHouse’s CEO, Ed Westbrook is leading the effort that is providing training and tools to the CCC crews, to help in building stone walls at rest areas along the Shoreline Trail. Hermino and Javier Ochoa, two of QuarryHouse’s Master Masons have lead work days to build stone working skills with the CCC crews. Over the past two years QuarryHouse’s people have pitched in to help the Friends of China Camp’s efforts to restore and improve the park, providing professional expertise in planning, design and construction management.
